Trail running & MTB racing @ Goat Farm

The Girls decided that a Sunday morning filled with fresh air and fun was in order, so we headed off to the Goat Farm (out past Hartebeespoort) for a short trail run and MTB race. SUCH FUN!!

One doesn't need an excuse to go hiking in the Drakensberg, but as hiking is the best form of training for my Kilimanjaro climb, it was a good excuse anyway! So we headed off to the Berg for the weekend and hiked up to the contour path via the Sphinx. Gorgeous waterfalls, bushmen art and stunning scenery makes the climb all worth the while! Another terrible day in Africa!

Mr & Mrs Murphy

One of my dearest friends, Colwyn Kidger got married to Gavin Murphy at Tala Game Reserve on 24th January 2009.  What an amazing wedding and it was so special to see her happy.  Gav, being Irish-Australian, had friends and family coming out from all corners of the globe.  The pre-wedding activities, including cocktails, golf, tea parties, ensured everyone was well acquainted by the time the wedding reception rolled around.. and the party continued!
