The Business Trust Long Run

The Business Trust Long Run is the world’s largest corporate relay and has been going since 2004. Teams from business government join communities and celebrities to complete a distance across South Africa and this year, in honour of Madiba's 90th birthday we 'ran' from Umtata (where he was born) to Vilikazi Street in Soweto (where he lived).
Our RMB teams were allocated stretches somewhere between Kokstad and Pietermaritzburg. Beating sun, not a flat stretch in sight, our first team (including me) set out to tackle some tough hills (up and down). By the time we handed over the baton at the end of our stretch, we ran on with our second team to complete over 12km.
After our second team handed over the baton to FNB, we headed back to the hotel to freshen up for the Charity work ahead.
