Olympic study breaks

There is nothing like the 2010 Winter Olympic highlights from Vancouver to provide an exciting break from my books.. speed, snow and skiing!!  Maybe I'll have to plan a trip to the next one as a reward for all this hard work!

Feeling a touch pensive..

This picture from Sharon Montrose is rather reminiscent of how I am feeling facing my first MBA exams this weekend.  Feeling a touch pensive, I tell you.  But before I know it, they'll be over and I'll have a glass of wine in hand.. Diemersfontein Pinotage or my favourite Haute Cabriere.. yum.  Right.. now I need to focus!

2010 FIFA World Cup Tickets!

I've just found out that I managed to get tickets to the opening match of the 2010 FIFA world cup to be held here in South Africa in June 2010.  So exciting!   I also managed to get tickets to see Brazil vs Ivory Coast and Germany vs Ghana.. best I start practicing with my vuvuzela!!

Finding my feet..

Well, I am well and truely into the throes of my MBA and finding my feet slowly.  Managing friends, family, work, exercise and studies is going to be interesting.. but I am sure I'll eventually get it right.
