After spending Christmas and New Year down at the coast, it was good to take some time out hiking at Thendele in the Drakensburg. Although going up 'The Crack' and down the 'Mudslide' (the actual trail names, I assure you) proved almost as difficult as the 'strenuous to extreme' trail rating! Good to be outdoors before heading back toLondon to face the cold.
